My wife and I saw the Indigo Girls at Radio City Music Hall last night. My wife's a big Girls fan. She has seen them play live many times over the years and owns most if not all of their albums. However, this was my first Girls concert (I've always liked their music, just never felt a need to see them live). I can honestly say I had a great time, notwithstanding the fact that I was somewhat taken aback when the ladies overran the men's room. ;D The Girls spotlighted stuff from their new album, All That We Let In. Given what I heard last night, this album looks to be another keeper. "Tether" was the best track, combining Amy's rough-hewn vocals with yearning lyrics. Amy actually gave a shout-out to Johnny Cash before launching into Tether. The Man in Black indeed was an appropriate muse for the killer track.
