I picked up this CD today. I love it. The CD was worth the price just for Keb's tribute song to Riley B. King. Keb' Mo' just keeps getting those dollars out of my wallet. ;D ;D But, his music is worth the sacrifice. Kick back, relax and listen to Keb'.

Hi Alice, hope all is well. Keb is one of those that is easy to listen to. I haven't gotten it yet, but it's on the list.

Hi Travelinman! Everything is going well. Staying busy. Spring has arrived in FL. Time to rake the yard. It's something like 18 bags of leaves done, 72 more to go. How's everything with you?

How come you were disappointed with this one? To sum it up, it was long on nice, mellow old school R&B ballads and very short on blues. My preference in blues is Delta and his first few albums had me thinking he was the new standard bearer. This one left me thinking "what is he thinking and where is he going?" Don't get me wrong, he's a terrific performer and I have nothing against performers branching out and trying new things. But aside from 3 songs on this one, I started wondering if I was listening to Keb Mo or Seal. He wandered too far away from the rootsy grit of Delta towards a smoother R&B sound and it wasn't what I was expecting, so this was a let down for me.
