I'm sure I'd be more upset if I weren't quite so heavily sedated

Here you go Red, but I never did this before so I don't know if I'm doing it right.

The poll shows up that it's unlocked, but it's not allowing people to vote.

The poll shows up that it's unlocked, but it's not allowing people to vote. Yep...this one's a known bug- but it pertained to members not being able to vote in polls started by mods or admin, so it's not explaining this one- since the snizzster started it- and not a mod or an admin. What I need to find out now- is this still strictly a 'poll' issue or is it a problem with locking/unlocking the poll that's causing members not to be able to vote?? So if someone who's not a mod or admin could start a new test one so I can see what happens I'd be much obliged... The problem causing major frustration is- we're reporting the bugs...but no one (Proboards' staff) is letting us know the status (whether they've been fixed, not fixed, won't be fixed or are working to fix them)...

I have it set so that staff members can lock and unlock polls. My view of the button on the top of the page and on the main page was showing that it was still locked even though you and Roughneck said your buttons showed it was unlocked. I was able to unlock it. That means there's another bug in the groups settings. I'm shocked.

Been playing around with it...now I see where the glitch is. Used to be there was just one button to lock polls that locked both the poll and the thread. Now there's two seperate buttons- one locks the poll and the other locks the thread. So now if you just lock the poll- members can still post in the thread unless you hit the other lock button- and then the entire thread is locked. The thing I found is that it's not always working...I'll unlock the poll- and the button is showing it's unlocked but the icon is showing it's still locked. I did it a bunch of times- sometimes it'll unlock and sometimes it won't. Then I tried locking and unlocking both...the poll would unlock- but the thread wouldn't or vice versa. On one attempt- it took 7 tries to get them both unlocked... It's really no biggie here...but I guess you never know- and it'd just be nice to know stuff works the way it's supposed to...though I'm really starting not to care anymore.

Poll has been locked due to a new security bug.

Cute one. It just popped up a few days ago and found it by accident. Before that, everything was working normally. The forum's set, as always, so that 'guests' can view but not post. This bug doesn't allow 'guests' to post- including in poll threads- but now anyone not logged in has access and can vote in a poll.
