Really looking forward to this one- heard the clips and it totally rocks WAY better than his last one- that one was disappointing...but he's definitely back with a vengence on this one. Can't wait to hear the entire cut of "Don't Let Your Boss Get You Down"... ;D Good news too- just got an update from BB's this morning and he'll be there in May...

Travelinman - get out one bourbon, one scotch and one beer! ;D ;D George didn't stray an inch from his major influence John Lee Hooker. And I hear a good bit of those cool Chuck Berry licks in this CD too. LittleSister, I love 'Don't Let The Bossman Get You Down.' I love the entire CD. There's not a bad track on this Blues drenched-guitar slinging CD. Too Cool! ;D ;D I haven't listened to my Chuck Berry CD lately to hear 'Nadine,' or listened to George Thorogood's version so, I am going get the CD and tape out today to hear one more time. ;D

Yea buddy LittleSister - how about those country licks on 'I Washed My Hands In Muddy Water.' I think Nashville oughta hire George Thorogood to give consultation on 'the real country sound and feel.' George could teach those idiot suits a thing or two about "soul." ;D ;D This song is more country than 99 and three quarter percent of anything I hear on country radio or CMT. Perhaps CMT will hire George to do a few of those Crossroads shows with those folks who are the latest 'rage of the age.' ;D ;D
