This is about internet browsers, and how they work. On this board we had a problem with one member having difficulty viewing the boards. Because Microsoft is the controlling giant that they are (GOD I HATE THIS COMPANY!) everyone writes code to fit MS software. I have tried several different browsers on these boards, here is what I found. MS IE 5 and higher works great, colors appear as they should, and the structure of the boards also appears as it should. Netscape 6.0 and higher worked well also. Colors were a little different then what I setup, but the boards worked. The structure appeared as it should. All in all I was happy with Netscape (my personal favorite) Opera 6.0 Colors and borders do cause this browser to behave strangely. While the borders were on it would cause posts to be blacked out. By removing the borders however I was able to read everything. The colors still look very different. As mush as I do not like MS, the rest of the software world bows to them. So for browsing use either IE 5.0 or higher or Netscape 6.0.
For anyone that had problems I'm Sorry.

It was a quickly fixed problem, m'man. I'm delighted you fixed it, because I am forbidden to load IExplorer on this machine. (You all know I'm whipped, deal with it.) I had to switch to Opera (from Netscape) back for the CW boards, when they changed. Go fig.

For anyone that uses Microsoft Internet Explorer you should read the top two articles at this link: www.extremetech.com/article/0,3396,apn=3&s=25124&a=23411&app=1&ap=2,00.asp There are some major security flaws in IE some of which will allow someone to actually take control of your system. See SAM I told you that you weren't using the @#$&%* stepchild of the internet.
