Well, I tell ya, good buddy, I don't claim to understand one bit of what radio execs think. Apparently, if I were in the radio business, I'd be poor as a church mouse, 'cause I don't understand how this "bottom line" thing works at all. I always thought "give the listeners what they want" would, you know, bring in listeners. What do I know? SAM, I'm right there with you. If it were up to me, country radio would be wall-to-wall (Heaven forbid) what I would consider country music, which is the same thing my parents would have considered music. ;D Now, that's not to say I don't welcome change, or the evolution of the country sound, but change and evolution, in my world (which might not be normal, in Nashville's failing eyes ) , simply doesn't equate to watered-down pop...or whatever it is that country radio thinks we want to hear. Look, I look ago admitted I'm dumb. Why in the name of Samuel am I now told I'm stupid? Oh...why the hell am I even talking about this!!!!
