That saddest thing I've ever seen was on CNN today as their 'man on the street' interviewed Iraqi's about their top 10 tips for surviving without power in NY -- how flippant, condescending and exploitive....

You knew the Iraqis were gonna be condecending about the whole deal when they got a hold of it, and that some reporter was going to pull some stunt like this. A friend of mine even commented that the Iraqis would have a field day when they heard about this one.

TCB let me first apologize to you, for the ARROGANCE AND IGNORANCE of the American people. No not all of them, just some. LS had told me of the articles you sent her about the notes that were left on the cars of Canadians that came into th US. Most people I know ignore the alerts. I know that sounds crazy, but how many times can you hear....WE DON'T KNOW WHERE, WE DON'T KNOW WHEN, AND WE DON'T KNOW HOW, BUT SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN. Please I was born at night, but not last night. As LS said it comes as soon as finger and evidence starts to point at the White House or a member of the admin, the alert level is raised. And nothing happens, after a week or two when the finger pointing stops the alert drops. I look at the people of Ireland, and Isreal these 2 places have been dealing with terrorism for centuries and have not stopped it. They just live their lives the best they can. All I can say is if ol' Bushie boy gets elected again, OPEN THE BOARDER CROSSING TO THE NORTH, CANADA HERE I COME.

Hey, this gives me an idea for a fun little game we could play! ;D If Bush gets reelected, what is your new country of choice until 2008? Mine would be either Austria or maybe Spain. Central Europe was very nice while I was over there and Spain is my own reasons.

Lol!! I think you're catching on... Oh, I've known Bush was a liar for some time now. Like I said, whenever Bush said anything about it it made me support the war less, whereas nearly anyone outside the administration who wasn't in their pocket gave what I thought were sound arguments for the war. Only problem was their information was flawed, weather it was known to them or not (the columnists, not the White House, which knew it was flawed obviously). But I think I figured out why no alert was issued when it was Xnay on Uday and Qusay. That brought in kudos for the administration, and dropped their troubles off the front page for a while. Why crowd out patting themselves on the back? Also, if an alert is issued, then it says that it may not be as simple as kill the Husseins (and maybe Osama if we come across him in our travels ) and all evil and terrorism in the world is destroyed, which is what Shrub Co. has been saying all along. The Saudi thing, that'll come back to bite him, same as 13 minutes of blank tape brought Nixon down. I think someone even mentioned that. Besides, there are so many holes, it's gonna take awhile to find them all, that's all! ;D

To both sides!! Nobody here was whining, complaining or suffering (except for maybe a few wussie out-of-towners ). The media really needs to get a grip- on themselves.

My map is full of pin holes...I've already been preparing for that one since I'm not sure I can even survive what he's got left on this one. Keep changing my mind though. I find Iceland really appealing- but I don't think I can handle that six months sun/six months dark thing - so that one's on the back burner. England and Ireland are in the running, though I think they might be too damp- bad for my allergies ...Spain doesn't sound bad. And I'm awaiting word on a possible short term adoption placement with a nice Canadian lady ...that would definitely be the most cost efficient for a short term move.

I'll be in Ireland for my honeymoon in October. Are you planning to check up on me, LS? Some adult supervision, as it were? ;D Whoa, looks like I dropped in on the latest meeting of the Dubyah fan club. ;D ;D Tsk, tsk...cut the guy some slack. After all, he's making it up as he goes along.

I'll be in Ireland for my honeymoon in October. Are you planning to check up on me, LS? Some adult supervision, as it were? ;D My how the time does fly...that's right, it'll shortly be time for LS to dust off her copy of Another One Bites The Dust won't it?? ;D And then before you know it, we'll be hearing the patter of little Shootlings running amok... Alas no though Shooter...Ireland's not on LS's agenda for October. Besides which, she's more than willing to offer advice, a shoulder to cry on, a good bash in the head with her helmet...but she draws the line at the supervision of adults. But if you feel you need supervision, my best advice to you so you're on the safe side, would be to make sure you pack your flannel pjs...it gets a wee bit chilly at night there in October. Ah well you know us...we never could resist taking cheap shots at easy targets.

After all, Mr. Shooter was planning to kick up his heels and throw caution to the wind over there. ;D Ah yes, I do hear the golf courses are wonderful there...I guess at long last you can finally make good use of that putter and those monogrammed balls of yours.... ;D I certainly hope the little woman-to-be does at least play golf...Ah, but then she must...what self respecting lawyer would take a wife who didn't?? Well Shooter, disasters are starting to become the norm here lately- so I suppose we can weather a few more ...But really- there's absolutely NO need to rush things on our account...take your time...LOTS of time. Lightfoot?? Nothin' wrong with Gordo...Shooter- you've actually made progress and you're movin' up!!

Well, LS, sometimes I surprise even myself. ;D But does this mean I burn my Andy Williams Fan Club membership card and cancel my subscription to Easy Listening Magazine? Golf and the law...I don't see a connection, do you? ;D Seriously, here's my motto: Always let the client win. LS, your double entendres remind me of headier days here in cyberland. Do YOU remember when?

Central Europe was very nice while I was over there and Spain is my own reasons. Central Europe is great. It is mostly democratic socialist, which contrary to what we were taught, is a system to help the country and the people. When I was in the service I had spent some time in Germany, Austria, Luxenburg......and a few others. The people are wonderful, and their lifestyle is far more relaxed then ours here in the states. Canada is very nice also. I have only been to Toronto and Newfoundland. I have a friend that spent a few years in Alberta....the pictures he showed me......... There's nothing I can say.
